Caravelle -> Beach (ish)

Hello there,

Have a 2008 Caravelle 2.5l 130bhp with a recent Beach (ie manual) roof conversion (courtesy of Premium Camper/Kernow Transporters).

Here really for the info on roof toppers / cozy's etc.

Next on the list is probably diesel heater under drivers seat (probably go for the OEM ducts etc) and finally tow bar for a bike rack.

Hi Seb, not far from you, welcome to the forum. Using the search function will bring up loads about internal and external toppers. I have a Comfortz external topper, very pleased with it, only downside is removing it and folding away when it's p***ing down, apart from that, great.

Hi - thanks both. Yes something to look forward to (the folding away in the rain) - at least we seem to have been lucky this winter compared to last years rainfest!

Welcome , pro's and con's on toppers in existing treads ....you still need to put it on an off and fold it (wet) Bach in , but when staying put on site for a few days in the winter it also does has it effect on inside themp. even when it does not rain.

Hi, we also have a LWB Caravelle with SCA roof, so effectively a LWB Beach. I installed a Webasto Telestart remote heater control and an Eberspacher D2 with factory ducting.
