Just back from a quick 2 day trip in Chamonix over Thursday and Friday this week and I have never seen some many Cali's through the different Car parks.

3 all in the car park at Grand Montets.

Enjoying some fantastic Snow conditions.

That sounds wonderful. I am keen to do a mountain trip to the Alpes. Have you been able to take any photos?

where did you stay? in van or hotel?? also keen to use cali for a snowboard trip. Looking forward to next year now 2013.

It was a work trip and so we had a nice chalet, just outside of Chamonix.

Having seen the vans (both Cali's and large Campers) down there (there were plenty parked up along the roadsides), I would certainly be prepared to extend a weeks stay and have a couple of nights wild camping to make driving easier at a quieter time of the week.

I'll post a couple of mountain picks when I've downloaded them off my phone.

The conditions were fantastic.
