Citroen California anyone?

So it's a 3rd Party Conversion with a separate Warranty for the Conversion, separate to the Base Vehicle.

"The converted elements of Citroën Holidays benefit

from a 3-year warranty provided by Star Mobil which

can be repaired at Star Mobil dealers across the

country (contact 00 33 3 2939 6280) "
It maybe that Citroen do not have the infrastructure to support the camper and have subcontracted it.

... as VW Commercial dealers do such a great job with the habitation elements.

I shall be going to test-drive one of these when I can find one nearby.

I am just about to collect a 2024 California T6.1 but did consider the Citroen before making the final decision. My biggest concern would have been the likely residual value of the Citroen in a few years time as opposed to the Cali. It's a bit of a lottery at the end of the day as we don't know how the Cali values will go when the T7 becomes more plentiful on the used market I guess?

Is this just a rebranded Campster? My neighbour has one of those. I had a good look when I was buying, but decided against it. The California T6/T6.1 felt much better than the Campster (and this if it's the same thing): Better panels, nicer interior, more storage space, more water capacity, larger battery capacity, just better thought out all round. The total deal breaker for me at the time was lack of 4wd option on the Campster.

My neighbour is now jealous of my T6, but her husband is a diehard anti VW guy after dieselgate so no VW for her

A good video here of it. I am very impressed for the price of it.
