Pretty well equipped for most cleaning jobs but having finally opened the awning for a clean, the mould and general muck on the vinyl will NOT come off.

Any hints/tips?!

Thanks!

Yep I saw that - the marks won't shift with that method.

I even tried a small area with diluted bleach (!); no joy.

Most marks are reddish brown like rust spots - yet Tardis won't work either!

I may just have to live with it.

mine has spots like that i have put it down to leaves leaking resin, i say that because we go to SE France a lot and it was resin from the trees, even difficult to clean off when fresh as it is very sticky and tar like.

ps the roof corrosion is my main worry at the moment :headbang

I had some reddish brown streaks on the underside of mine. They came off easily with Flash surface wipes. It may be coincidence but they were lemon scented and apparently lemon juice is good for removing rust stains. Worth a try anyway.

Cheers Owen - I will try that. I have SO many cleaning products, I can't believe non worked at all!

On the upside, the rest of the van is now sparkling clean. :D

Probably not to everyones liking but
Had the same problem and tackled it with Ajax and a brillo, very messy very time consuming but worked a treat.

I used a kitchen cleaner, think it was Cillit Bang.
Looks much cleaner now :thumb
