We have a similar kettle, but with a thermometer, for the van. Perfect for v60, still compact and tastes way better than a collapsible silicone kettle. Not had any worries with the spout at all.I have been looking on the Internet for a gooseneck kettle. I found some clearance stock locally, so thought I would give it a go for the next trip. The spout does look a bit vulnerable though. Will have to ditch the camping kettle and find a safe place for it. Cali cupboard Tetris again!
If I go with an induction hob it might not work though being stainless.
