Deadlock

When I turn off the ignition I get a message about the Deadlock telling me to check the manual. I have but I don't understand what it is telling me. Am I doing something wrong or is there likely to be an error?

I Get the same message too. when the key is out of the ignition turn the wheel till it locks into place (deadlock).
I guess its just an extra security measure to make sure you remember to put it on

The Deadlock message is to let you know that the deadlocks will be activated when the vehicle is locked. It is in the manual, but not very clear once read.

Ah. All is clear. I thought it had to do with dealocking the roof!

Yet another old post which I found most helpful as I was at a lost to understand what the van was trying to tell me ! "remember to lock your van" would have been more helpful !!
