Dealer recommendations to order 6.1 Beach LHD in EU

Good afternoon to all, my first posting so thank you for all your sage advice and keep up the great and friendly work on this very handy forum. I've decided on ordering a new Beach, not available in the UK, I prefer LHD anyway and like the teeny fold up kitchen. I searched this site and I have e mailed a few dealers in France and Europe but no reply so far, which is understandable given the status quo...can anyone recommend a dealer in the EU? I have seen 8% offered online, any suggestions on a suitable discount? 10% do able? Likely delivery this year? Many thanks, Tom

I had a very good experience with Moll in Dusseldorf whilst travelling in Europe last year. I had an issue with my Cali and they went significantly over and above to get me back on the road (vs other dealers I contacted who weren’t responsive). Tobias Rösgen looked after me (their ‘Serviceberater’ / service manager) and would be a good point of contact for you into their sales team. His email is Tobias.Roesgen@moll.de

Try out the Bullishow (https://bullishow.com/).
They are huge dealer in Reutte, Austria. They are right on the border with Germany.
Speak good English and very knowledgeable. I was there 3 months ago and they have a huge amount of unregistered T6 stock to sell. I know they are open for business at the moment.
You might need a bit of Google translate to find your way around the website.
Also T6.1 Beach Edition at discounted price.
Austrian prices are more expensive than German due to a tax difference. They were happy to sell me one tax free, you would then have to pay UK VAT when you import it.
I didn’t buy one from them in the end as got a even better discount direct from VW with a scheme my employer is eligible for. Being built at the moment (probably!) and hope to collect in July - T6.1 Beach Edition LHD with the little kitchen unit.

Living in the Netherlands I must agree with WelshGas. The Volkswagen Camper Centrum is a VW centre specifically for VW campers. They do only that. They are very knowledgable and friendly. And I'm sure they speak English, as most of us do.

You won't have any problem dealing with any dutch guy
speaking english if the money is going from you to him.

Don't be flattered just because they communicate in english,
good deals can also be had in Belgium and Germany.
I haven't looked for a while but trade port.de was a good option
for the Cali.

Transport from Gibraltar too much of an added cost as getting on flights there is off the menu for me. I have tried the chap above. No joy. There is a fair bit of confusion out there on Brexit, a few VW dealers insisting that UK is not subject to the same EU rules as last year. Not true.
Tricky times at the moment with staff but out of 25 main VW agents, two replied (cant help + car under offer). Every specialist replied ( no stock, dont want to sell to UK, Brexit, cant/ won't help but thanks)

Agreed a deal on a new but pre registered 6.1 Beach listing at over 70,000 Euros for Euros 57000 with a California specialist in Germany. The only company out of maybe 40+ people that I e mailed who actually picked up a telephone and called me...now there's a lesson in sales in an internet world.Will post dealers details and photos once everything wrapped up.

Loved the idea of the tiny pop up kitchen on the new 6.1 Camping Beach version but decided safety of having two side opening doors on the Tour spec had the edge for UK driving. Plus the numerous Beach owners discussing cooking smells. I'd guess beach owners look hungrier than ocean owners. I'm sure VW UK did their research but I'm sure that I cant be the only buyer for a new beach in the UK.

Thank you to all, Keep Calm and Carry on Camping. I think we will call our new VW "Bubble"

Paperwork signed...deposit sent...should arrive at dealer in Germany June 12th...just ran the VIN to see exact build. A few small surprises; huge list of factory options, it's Portuguese spec ( perhaps higher taxes locally can mean VW factory gives lower prices to Portuguese dealers) was a seven seater ( dealer probably taking those as contract says 2-0-3 seating) , driver's seat doesn't swivel and has a black roof...no biggie as the fridge will go behind the driver's seat anyway but black roof...not so sure my wife and 5 year old fancy gently baking upstairs...might have to get it wrapped...I quite like this
