I dinged the nearside panel under the fuel filler flap and just behind it.

I forgot there was a parking bollard in my blind spot!

Has anyone had similar? Wondering how eye watering to repair.

Paintless dent repair then touch up. It's gonna be hundreds I'm afraid but far better than filler.

The most expensive part to repair maybe the door panel.

The other two sections are small and easy to colour match. Cheap to fix really. The door, if it needs painting is a massive area and paint is expensive.

Kind of what I thought. Paint is intact, no creases or deep scratches.

Long panel unaffected / only the lower panels are dented.

I’m hoping sub £400

Firstly. Wash the vehicle then reassess.

Sliding door panel seems to be OK. Maybe some T-Cut.

Panel below Fuel Flap. Access from behind may be possible. Likewise sliding door panel but interior trim may need to be removed.

The panel below the filler cap is an easy replace t as it is a complete panel that simply attaches to the chassis, so replacement No problem . Take a close look at the panel with the drivers door open and the "gap" along the Cill. the panel slots on to fixings attached to the body :cheers

The dent behind is not the sliding door it's the fixed panel behind the passenger,
Repair is not going to be as bad as it looks,
a repairer can get to the inside of the panel (I.e the outer skin, from inside) by removing the damaged panel under the fuel filler, making a small hole then repairing the hole, post remedial works. Possible candidate for Paint less repair, but not sure. Would depend on the Body shop. Simple blend In of the White paint.
IMO easy repair.

Edit :

Cheap panel see picture to give you a better idea, showing it's an independent panel & how its fitted to the van ; good luck, please post back to let others know the outcome

Hi - thanks for feedback. It’s the nearside/passenger side. Main panel looks to be ok.

Thanks for reply - that’s what I was thinking. Remove the panel and hopefully push out the dent under fuel filler flap, while creating access to lower panel below large flat panel of passenger side.

Always nice to share, problem aired and all that.

I had a couple of 'Tesco car park special' dents in my Tiguan doors for a couple of years. Thought it would not be worth the expense of repair until my neighbour pointed me to a 'Dent Doctor'. One dent was about as deep as yours, £80 both sorted and you would need to look really hard to spot it now, I even reckon WBAC would miss it. If they can some how gain access to the back of the dent they can work wonders!
