DOOR WIND DEFLECTOR

Fitted VW OEM this summer (sticky tape needs warmth) around double glazed door windows and they're perfect with the added benefit you can leave the windows slightly open when travelling for noise reduction and fresh air ventilation

+1

Great addition. Being able to drop the windows slightly at night and in hot weather parking is very useful

Hi all for me I had HEKO’s but didn’t like the fit and the really dark tint. Then I found from DGA a similar design but no clip like HEKO instead very thin but strong 3M tape to sit in channel. It works great and they are a much lighter tint so don’t obscure vision at all. Fit for t6 and t6.1

Have you any photos of these fitted please?

Thanks for the photo. I popped over to camper van bits this morning ( I didn’t know they were so close to me ) and bought a pair but will probably wait until the spring before I fit them.
I’m guessing they are a modification not an accessory in the eyes of my car insurance?

I informed my insurers Comfort (as I did with the rear bumper cover) and they said there would be no extra premium or amendment charge, but they did need to know and recorded the "modification'......best be safe, 'uberrimae fidei' !
Good luck, but only bite the bullet fitting them when it's warm and no wind.......I used masking tape on the window frame to mark up to the position where I wanted the deflectors to affix.

A bit off topic but I have just fitted a set of Climair wind deflectors to my 6.1 and they did not come with any screws. just a metal push in clip. They fit perfectly so has the original design had an update?
