I have an issue with the flap on my EHU I. That it won’t stay shut and flaps in the wind when driving there is no sign of any damage- is this covered under warranty?

Have you tried pushing left and right bottom? If I just let mine drop down, it won't close either.
You really have to push both sides to make sure it closes.
Otherwise, if there is no sign of damage, and your van is less than 2 years old, ask your VW dealer if this is covered under warranty.
If not, glue some small round magnets on the flap, and put some metal strips opposite of the magnets. This should keep it closed.
This trick must be somewhere on this forum.

I've tried the magnetic tape option and just need to test it, hopeful as I'd rather not be rewiring stuff unless absolutely necessary. Thanks

onlyneeds a little extra push and a soft click.. to confirm it is properly closed.

Hook up cover flapping in airflow whilst driving on motorway.

Recently we have noticed that when driving on the motorway our hook up cover has been flapping in the air flow. Has anyone else had this happen? It feels like the latch is now loose. Is it an easy fix or does it involve replacing the whole hook up socket?

Mine did that after a very hot few days in France, I put a little Velcro on it.

Which is solid advise because when I took it to the VW Dealer they told me you could bot get the flap itself as a loos epart and they had to replace the entire unit. Which of course is crazy.

Thanks team, I got some magnetic tape from +amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon and have put a few pieces on, just need to get out and test it, most likely at the weekend, I will report back. Appreciate all of your help.
