we are going to Switzerland next week and it is very cold at the minute over there ❄️
So we are taken two electric blankets.
Does anyone know if the van electrics and the hook will be able to handle them safely ?

Thanks John

300Watts on mains hook up should be no problem and well under maximum. Assume you aren't running an electric heater as well.
The van could only handle one blanket via the inverter if no hookup available. Wouldn't recommend that.

My partner has used an electric blanket in her van many times, they work great. More effective than a small radiator at keeping you warm in my experience.

Hey Hulky, we used one in Garmisch (-20) at night. Worked great for us. There is somewhere a picture of it (I guess in the buying today thread).
Where are you going to stay in Switzerland? Skiing?

Cheers
