Well I can confirm that a California will stand up to a force 8-9 gale side on while tents are being blown down and a near monsoon is horizontally battering the Earth to a pulp.

The weather was a little "livelier" the expected on Saturday and while me and my wife hardly slept a wink (downstairs) for fear of the roof blowing off, the kids slept through it upstairs while the van shook all night!

Oh and the 4Motion was handy in the morning too...!

Where we're you?

We were camping at burrowhayes farm in Porlock and there was a dark blue Cali on the site. It blew a real gale on Saturday night and torrential rain.

Ear plugs are the best, I can sleep through a hurricane with them in!!!

Not far from home at Treveague Farm nearish Mevagissey. Nice site but very exposed to the wind!
