Faulty Switch or Not?

Hi,

I have noticed our Beach rotary fan switch LEDs appear to light intermittent, sometime when fan speed is on 1 the LED does not light until you get higher in the range. Sometimes 1 lights but then 2 does not light etc etc etc.

The image shows it blowing on number 1 speed at temp 20 but no LED is lit?

Is it a fault or are they all like this with intermittent LEDs?

Is it the same if its on Auto? (do they light back up)

LED does not light up on auto on fan speed 1 but does on speed two (see images below).

To confirm the fan always works, its the LED's that are intermittent.

Sometimes second LED does not light but first does, very intermittent.

I’ve got the same on my Beach, if you press Auto, then speed up / slow down the fan, you’ll find the time the speed goes off ties you the “Auto” speed for the set temperature. A bit crap, but i think that’s the answer

I think that is just a feature of the control. When you set the fan speed to the same value as “auto” speed the leds go out.
