Folding mirror not folding (facelift)

One of those seldom used functions but I don't like things not working.

The Passenger one folds no issues but the drivers moves about 2mm, clunks and stops so sounds like the mechanism is stuffed.

Can this be fixed (seen a repair kit on fleabay) or is it the whole shebang (and not cheap) and having already had a look an broken one of the tabs on the cover that's bound to need replacing too!

not a squeak. looks like i'll need to trot off to ETKA and then phone SMG.

I think you sort of answered your own question Seb.

It's not fully moving and clunks so you suspect the mechanism is faulty. You found a repair kit. :mrgreen:
