From Tent to California

Having been reading this tremendously useful forum for months and months we have finally taken the leap from years of camping in a tent with two girls, a Trangia and a bucket and are now the proud owners of Larry. He is an ex-demo 150 DSG Ocean Deep Black Pearl with lots of buttons that we are still learning how to use!

We have taken him for a day trip to the seaside and have cooked some lunches with the highly recommended Ridge Monkey. And yes the washing up bowl does melt if you boil the kettle for too long! We are looking forward to our first nights away in a few weeks.

Realy funny you are so open to say you melted the plastic bowl on your first trip , nothing to be ashamed of . Probally many did thesame , orderd a new without telling anyone.
