Front Seat Covers - Airbag

Our dealer recently mentioned that any seat cover for the front seats should allow deployment of the side air bag (some apparently have less stitching on that side to allow for this) if required (seems obvious), is this an issue anyone is aware of with current available seat covers. He said that if it can't deploy then the air bag will deploy inwards and hence would be dangerous.....

We have the Brandrup covers and the front ones have the reduced stitching on both sides of each front cover so that they can be used on either seat safely.
