Thankx for sharing John , i need to fill up in the Provence region on sathurday to get me home on sunday .
Still in the Ardeche region until friday , then head off to my brother in law at Beaumes des Venises
Most likely the strikes will be out of the way by the weekend

I was oblivious to this.....we're heading to Calais on Thursday, filled up today at our stop over site near Troyes so we'll be ok to get back over the water if needs be, even at 25mpg which is all we're getting with the bikes on the rack!

I have 1/4 tank and am 200 km north of the Spanish border, heading for San Sebastián.

It will be close, but was always my intention to refuel with cheaper Spanish diesel.

Thanks for the warning. We manage 36 mpg with 2 Bromptons and 2 child bikes on the back, all folded below roof height.
