Hi all,
On our first weekend away we brought a Gas cylinder from Go Out Doors. I did not hook it up after leaving Go Out Doors, instead just drove the 40mins to the campsite.
Half way there my girlfriend started to feel ill and I got a headache. When we got to the campsite I went to hookup the gas, it was on opening the seal nut that i noticed it was leaking.
Having not smelt propane before I did not recognise the faint smell in the front of the van as gas.
We replaced the cylinder and all was well. We have not purchased a gas alarm.

I know they are not cheap but after the above for me its not worth the risk of not having one.
Cheers
