I am a newbie and would appreciate some advice about gas and safety. I have connected up the gas and everything works fine. Do Cali owners who use their vans as a day driver leave the gas bottle in place or remove it until planning to go on a trip? Thanks.

Definitely leave in place, it's the perfect location for it and vented to the outside world in case of a leak, just turn the tap off on the top of the bottle when traveling
