For me, he brought people together during a crisis. I am aware others have done the same or more. But I just wanted to pay my respects to someone who wanted to support the country in a time of crisis, made a huge amount of money for the NHS in doing so, and now, sadly is no longer with us.
RIP Capt Sir Tom Moore

I would have loved a cuppa with him and to listen to his stories. I reckon he would have seen and experienced some things that would have been so enlightening. RIP Captain Sir Tom

Unqualified respect. RIP Tom. (Sir, Captain)

Many of Sir Tom’s generation are a shining example including my recently departed dad. He was a real gentleman and very humble just like Sir Tom.

I had the privilege to sit and talk for over an hour with a veteran at Pegasus bridge on the 75th anniversary of D-Day. His name was Frank Pendergast (sadly now passed away). Aged just 19 Frank parachuted into Normandy near Pegasus Bridge shortly after the gliders landed there in the early hours. He returned every year on the anniversary. What a man!

Frank’s on YouTube if anybody is interested.
