great week end on Yorkshire coast
lovely weather
fish and chips on beach lots of ice cream
we were only cali on club site, gives the curtain twitchers some thing to watch other than telly
think the drive away awning was most entertaining for them seeing how quick it is
only downside my wife really suffered on the lower bed ?
very sore back
it was that bad she has said I can take the kids away at end of may
any suggestions to improve the comfort most welcome
we have the 3 section mattress that came with the van
me and the kids can sleep on a floor as we go wild camping and comfort is not the best in the hills
could try the Exped mattress from the tent set up
suggestions please

Couple of questions:
What kind of mattress does Mum of the Morpeth clan sleep on at home?
What part of her back is sore?
Is she comfy on the Exped mattress in the tent?

wife likes her comfort
lower back across the whole width
strange as our last cali was ok back wise but that was some 10 years ago
only me and the kids camp
we use expeds and exped pillows as we go off wild camping only a night at a time but good fun
as for home
our mattress at home is a multi layer memory foam mattress that cost 4 figures
so can't match that in the cali

Definitely try the Exped. Mum of the Morpeth clan would probably benefit from stretching, which she may already do. Either way get medical advice on what to try stretchwise. I do tai chi qigong and when we’re camping it keeps me nice and flexi.

Although I don’t have back trouble myself, I teach people who do and gentle exercise is the way forward. My hubby has neck and back problems so I can empathise and have an idea of how bad it can make you feel.

tried the Exped on drive
still no good
looking at it it does not follow the body contours like memory foam
exped was designed as a soft insulating sleeping mat
will have to try some memory foam toppers in shops
its hard to risk a lot of cash on what may be of no use

can any one recommend a thick memory foam topper ?
I would think a single size would do for the wife but that would leave a odd size next to it
custom-built ? would fit correctly is such a thing available
but more money

A lot of people rave about the zone sleep. If you contacted the shop Nick would help you out finding a possible solution, they’re very customer focussed.

remember that when ordering online you have the right to return anything for any reason for a full refund up to 14 days after the delivery date. It's been known for one of my family members to order 4 dresses for one event and send three back once she'd tried all four on.

Obviously wouldnt be in the spirit of the law if you were asking for a custom made item while knowing you may well return it, but if you're really struggling it may be a way of assessing 'off the shelf' items side-by-side in the comfort of home.
