Headlamp bulbs

I can't find any reference in the VW owners manual of the type of bulbs used in the head lamp. I presume that dipped is H1 and that the main beam is H7. Can that be confirmed please. Thank you.

You need a H7 for dipped beam.
The DRL/Main beam is a H15 and the fog light a HB4.
There are Nightbreaker versions fo the H7 and HB4 bulbs.

These are for a 2014 reg.

These are 2010 onwards.

Thank you Welshgas. I need some dipped for my 2011, so H7 it is. I think I might try Phillips X-treme vision.
