Away for weekend and had heating running tonight (heat immediately ). It appeared to run for a period of time then switch off and turn back on again later. Trying to use it again but it’s not firing up and heat symbol is blue. Battery is fully charged. Plenty of fuel? Connected to power. Read manual and it say battery can be discharged after maximum run time but not sure what that means or if it’s relevant if connected to hook up? Any ideas please it’s pretty chilly tonight

Heat continuously is the setting for prolonged use. Heat immediately only runs a few times before you need to drive to reset it.

Don’t use ‘heat immediately’ ‍(For the reason you read in the manual). This function is to heat up quickly, for example just before you go back in (if you have a remote control, it will control the heat immediately for that reason).
But if you do use it as continuous heating, it switches off completely after max 180 minutes of use. If you then want to reuse your heating, it will go into error. Driving up to 60 km per hour can solve the problem (of course this is not always possible), but if not:
fuse box next to steering wheel: take those four out and put back in.

(Pure as info: Always make sure you have enough diesel in your tank)
Some more info: you can try the following (if your screen is acting strangely/ frozen): under the seat, take this fuse out and then put it back in. (Then you can do the prior)

Two more tips: 1) do you know the ‘max. charge’ function? Use it while driving (every now and then) and your batteries will be in top condition ✅
2) Also: while camping: push ‘camping mode’ and your batteries will last longer while standing free.
Greetings

Thanks everyone for your help, will give this a try. Still learning after 3years of owning my Cali. On the plus side it wasn’t too cold when I got up .

read this before pulling fuses, you might be pleasantly surprised
Yes, but if it's too late, do it anyway. Has already helped many people.
