Hi I’ve got a new van and the clip on the cupboard under the cooker is broken and I need to replace it with the new part. It’s screwed in behind the screen and there is no obvious way of getting to the screws. Any ideas? Thanks image.jpgimage.jpg

That is an interesting problem. The correct way to repair, as I understand it from other posts, if you search (a VIP member search is best) is to remove the fridge, a big job. An alternative approach is to create a new ‘keep’ by fixing a bar across where yours is broken and one member has posted that fix.

I might be inclined to to carefully mark up the broken part (using the replacement as a template) where the fixings are then use a core drill to isolate the fixings from the rest of the plate, remove the plate and then remove the fixings and then silicone (or soft glue) the new part in place.

I would be interested to know the number of that part by the way.
