Please see attached symbol on central control unit (top right, van with temperature gauge). I noticed yesterday this was flashing. It's in the manual , allegedly indicating 4 different things (outside temp display, battery charge level, wake up time and countdown timer). But they is nothing to advise what it means if its flashing. Can anyone please help. Many thanks.

1. Have you tried switching the Control Panel OFF, Bottom L Button. Wait 30secs and then Switch ON, bottom L Button.

Is it still flashing?

If it is -

Check Control Panel Diagnostics.

Control panel On

Press and Hold R lower button and then press Control Knob for 5 secs.

New Hidden Menu . Scroll to VW Diagnostics.

If there are any codes shown, take note and then Reset/Clear.

Return to Main Menu.

Switch Off Control Panel using L lower button. Wait 30 secs and Switch On.

Post Codes here.

Help!
I have this logo which has just appeared (it isn't flashing)

I've loaded the van up and am off on my travels at 9am tomorrow. Can anyone advise what may be the cause?
TIA

I just did everything as above and it says no error IMG_20190627_200132.jpgIMG_20190627_200350.jpgin the diagnostic menu.

I think it means that the Temp will be displayed on the dash.
You have to change the setting on the Control Panel.
Something like, display here.

Oh I really hope it's just that. Thanks for your help. It's all locked away for the night now so will have to check in the morning. Thanks for your help :thanks

If you select outside temperature to show on the display, it will only display with the ignition turned off. If the ignition is turned on, that message will be shown. Then just look at the outside temperature in your instrument cluster.
While driving I always select battery. When on hookup and stationary, I mostly choose outside temperature, as my batteries are charged through the mains and don't need to show 13,5V / 0.5 A charging.
