Hi all i set off and forgot to shut side sliding door so it banged open so i stopped then it banged shut and since the door will not open

Hi all I set off yesterday in my 2011 vw california but hadn't shut the side sliding door it flew open then I stopped and it slammed shut now it won't open can anyone give me any advice on what to do is it something our normal garage will do as I know its not mechanical

Yes a VW Dealership can probably fix it.

But, have you tried opening from Inside and Outside?

Why do you think it is not a mechanical problem?

It should be fine coping with that. Try inside. Try key fob etc
