Has anyone ever stayed here before?

We've booked for the summer as the location is perfect and understand its not going to be the worlds best facilities.

Last night we started looking at reviews (after booking) and they are mixed with some very negative. I normally expect either exceptional or terrible reviews as there are probably hundreds of people that think its perfectly adequate but don't both doing a review.

Was sure there will be someone on here who has tried it and can give a trusted verdict of if its any good to reassure us its a good spot?

Weve camped there in a tent and loved it.
It has 3 different areas to camp in. Lower field is flat and has electric hook up.
Middle field is on a slight slope in areas but beautiful views. The showers and loos are here.
Never went to the top field.

Every morning a van arrived to sell fresh coffee and some form of breakfast, then in the evening twice a week a mobile fish and chips van came.

A walk down the hill to a lovely beach and pub/restaurant. Hills a bit steep but worth it.

This was our view from the middle field overlooking the bottom field.

The loos and showers are basic but were clean.

Its in a great position for exploring that area. But make sure you have levellers.
