Holland Aires

Vicarious are launching a new Benelux Aires guide, but we might not get our copy until a day or two after we have already left the country. I don't really want to buy the previous (now very old and probably out of date) edition.

Can anyone recommend another way to plan? Are the Aires in Holland well signposted? If so, how? And, can anyone recommend good ones. We've got two weeks and expect to visit all the main tourist sites.

Many thanks. Excellent resource! Perhaps too good. There are too many to jot down - I'll create my own Aires book. I'll have to look-in to using my phone to browse the internet while over there.

Here are a couple of suggestions from our records...

Plaats Kompas - Private Aire
Private parking in level numbered pitches on well mown grass, space for 35 campers little shade. Water, grey & black waste plus EHU with lighting on points (4Amp). Pay in envelope found near service point.

Hanssum - Marina side Aire
Aire on harbour side overlooking the river Maas. Space for 8 campers on level grass, electric hook-up, toilets and shower at harbour masters office. Access to toilet & shower by swipe card issued when paying (at harbour masters office). Max two nights stay.

Maashees - Camping Landgoed Geijsteren
Nice location in the banks of the Maas. All campsite facilities except grey water from tank on camper. Free Wi-Fi available, may depend in plot location. New management 2013, veranda overlooking Maas with big table and open log burner installed. Free wi-fi at office and some plots close to office.
