Stayed in Holland for a week at the very nice and very sunny Noorduinen campsite at Katwijk on hook up last week. When packing up, the missus noticed that the fridge yellow light on the control panel had turned red, and that no twiddling with the controls could make it switch back on. Further investigation revealed that the hook up connection was not active, and the leisure battery was nearly dead!
We worried most about our lovely Dutch cheese first. Then common sense took over and we discovered that the only possible cause could have been the fact that a couple of rather stuffed eBags stored on the bottom shelf may have been forced against the red/green hook up switch on the internal wall of the cupboard thus turning off the connection.
I say this advisedly, but wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I don't know how long it was off for, but the cheese survived and the milk was off. It took a few miles to be able to get the batteries back on song. But all is now well.
