Hi can anyone please tell me the correct way to connect to a 240 volt hook up.
Should I connect first to the campsite outlet and then the van or the other way around?

When arriving - Van first, then outlet. Otherwise you are dangling around and handling a live lead.
When leaving - outlet first, then van.

I also check the campsite outlet for reverse polarity as well, if it is reversed I carry a short reversed lead to correct this and plug it in first.
