How efficient is the internal roof insulation?

Hi there!
We are thinking about internal insulation (Iso-top or Thais) for our Cali. Mostly for protection against the sun in the mornings. Therefore my question is how efficient is the insulation? There is a lots of positive comments about it on this forum but has anybody made a bit more objective tests? How many degrees I can save inside with the insulated roof top?

Haven’t actually done a scientific experiment, but the van subjectively feels much warmer with Isotop liner installed. Also creates near perfect blackout so you can lie in longer in the summer!
