How many built?

Does anyone know the build quantities for T4 Californias? My 'Blue' was only made in 1999 so I was wondering how many of those were built too.

I did have some info on how may T4s were built per year, but nothing specific to Westies

Just read on a German info-site that there were 35,000 ish T4 Westfalias built! That just seems like a massive amount; surely too many?

Blimey. That does seem like a lot. You don't see many about. More in Euroshire obvs.

Does seem high, that's about 7 a day?

But then VW were building nearly 350 T4's a day between 1990 and 1994, not sure what production was on the late models.
