Inspiration for places to go for Twixmas

We are not back to work until the 3rd January so we are looking for ideas of what to do between boxing day and new year as we don't want to do the sales and we fancy heading off somewhere.

Weather is looking a bit drab so might combine camping with a hotel ? What are others doing once Christmas is over ?

I’m off up the Malverns today for a walk.
