Insurance and breakdown cover

Hi. Am I correct that as my Cali ocean is 2019 registered I get breakdown cover automatically with VW assist. Or do I need to take out breakdown cover with my general insurance (Comfort).? I bought it privately not from a dealer.

California’s come with 3 years breakdown cover - but phone VW up to double check.

Phone VW Assistance and check with them directly. You should be. Change the details they have to avoid problems in the future.
