Interior monitoring stopped working

For some reason my interior monitoring is no longer working :
I can move move around inside when locked with the key fob and the alarm does not sound
Also when unlocking from inside using the key fob the doors remain deadlocked
If the unlock button on the door is used the deadlocks then disengage
Have checked that Interior Monitoring is ticked in Vehicle Settings, Opening and closing
All fuses have been thoroughly checked.
Any ideas before I take it into VW?
