Interior plastic yellowing?

We have a 2007 California with a light grey plastic interior - window and door surrounds etc. The camper has been in storage for almost 3 years during COVID. We pulled it out this week to find that the interior plastic has all yellowed. The storage was in a secure inside building (mainly for antique cars).

We tried cleaning it, but no effect. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we can do, or is it a question of putting up with it or replacing it?

Normally yellowing is caused by UV light but as its been inside this cant be the case, what I would do is try some neat bleach on a bit not very visible

Did you find anything that worked ian? Im noticing a slight tinge of yellow on the plastic and am not sure what to scrub it with - if anything.

Try some WD40 on a cloth

There are a lot of reports and videos on YouTube of people trying to rejuvenate games consoles such as the ‘SNES’ from the late 90s. Lots of yellowed Grey and cream plastics.

Several mentions of bleach type products being used amongst others.
