Albert provided the champagne. Bottles in the fridge, fourteen glasses on the table, all nicely warm and lit up. Collect a glass from Albert before moving on to Frieda and Jo cut the tape and sliced the cake.

The naming ceremony finished at about 2am and no one was caring whether that was GMT or BST

That sounds like a super naming ceremony and her head sounds well ‘wetted’ ! Good on you.
Life should be full of celebrations. Not sure we do it enough.
