Accidentally plugged a fan heater into the inverter socket last week in not so sunny Wales. The inverter stopped working so when arrived home today started to search for a blown fuse as inverter still not working.Checked all the fuses under the passenger seat all ok.By doing this, removing all fuses, the inverter is now working again , I assume this has reset the inverter in some way ?
has anyone else come across this

Think the inverter can get overheated...maybe in this case pulling to much power thru it could overheat it and causing it to switch off...and resetting afther cool down?

What wattage was the fan? If greater than 150 watts then that's a NoNo.

It is a 2Kw fan which tripped out the invertor , but seems strange that by just pulling out fuses and replacing them ( none of them blown ) the inverter came back to life days later !

Strange but lucky!:thumb
