Is 2x USB option required for App connect??

In the paper price list it says for the "App Connect" option - Only in combination with composition media with 6.33" touch screen and 2 USB interfaces and aux-in jack OR USB interface and aux-in jack.

If you select app connect in the online configurator it only prompts for the 6.33 screen, not the USB interface.

The Cali we hired had a USB in the glove compartment. Am I correct the 2x USB interface option adds another USB socket in the little storage space to the left of the gear stick?

I spec'd the 2x USB interface as wasn't sure if this was required for App connect, but assuming I could use the USB socket in the glove compartment to connect to App connect?

Not required, but a darn site tidier to have the phone in its own little cubby hole.
