Is Emptying the fresh water tank the most un German thing about the Cali

So we have now been away for our first California trip and it was very nice, However is emptying the fresh water tank the most Un German thing about the California. I say this as the water is just discharged under the plastic panel and drips runs out of almost everywhere in that area......Hahahahahahah has anyone improved this..

It’s fresh water and the tank drain is protected by the plastic under shield from all the c**p thrown up from the road, unlike the waste water tank.
