Is there a technical problem with the new 204PS?

Just reading the 204PS is no longer available to order.

My best guess would be there is a reliability issue with this engine and they have suspended production to find a fix. Has anyone had engine failure on the 204 or know why it has been suspended?

You can order a VW Tiguan with the same bi-turbo engine and the 204 Cali is still on the configurator.

I heard that the 204 PS is only available with DSG. They don't fit the manual gearbox in the 204 PS version anymore!

Just looked on configurator today 1st May and it gives the following on the Ocean
204 6 speed manual
204 DSG gearbox.
204 6 speed manual 4Motion
204 DSG 4Motion

Seems VW are changing specs by the day.

150ps engine has a single turbo, the 204ps engine has two turbos.

We are approaching the cut-off of MY17 configuration as they transition to MY18 this happens every year at this time so you hear bits like this.
