Isotop in summer?

About to head out for some camping now that the Danish summer is finally here. This is our first summer after getting an isotop. Do folks leave theirs in over summer? Does it help with cooling, or does it just trap heat?

Helps keep it cool in the summer, and blocks light so easier to sleep especially with longer daylight.

I leave mine in situ as well. It seems to regulate the temperature and it certainly helps keep it dark.
