Just one little niggle...

Hi all, we have owned our Beach since December and been away in him 4 times so far. We have encountered all types of weather and everything has worked perfect. We know we made the right choice. Our only little gripe is the awning when travelling rattles, i have replaced the 2 small pieces of foam fitted by VW for complete lengths of the stuff but still no luck in driving rattle free. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to stop this? I don’t really want to take it back to VW for such a niggly little thing as i know they will have it 3 days with nothing sorted. If all else fails I suppose i can turn the radio up. Many thanks in advance.

Yeah, searched the site before asking and tried many of the tips but still rattling. Might have to put some Velcro straps round it to see if that stops it.

I use plastic ties, always have done since new

This works sometimes, close the awning, reopen by about 6 inches then close again and tighten shut.
