Kenwood 521 DAB

Hi can any one help. I am looking to up grade to the kenwood 521dab. I currently have premium bluetooth connected to the factory fitted 310. The vw garage who tried to install the unit say it doesn't link up to the steering wheel and central display controls. I find this hard to understand as the leaflet promoting thee system states remote use with steering wheel controls.

How old is your vehicle?

We did one recently on a Trendline window van that had MFSW and factory Bluetooth and the Bluetooth will not display on the dash insert, but the MFSW allows you to control the volume, change radio stations in your preset stations and to mute the Kenwood as well. You will not be able to answer the phone from the steering wheel with the phone button. The van Bluetooth will also be live as well and unless you 'Forget' the van Bluetooth on your iPhone it will probably try and connect to that as well.
