After reading about the unfortunate people that had their pride and joy stolen recently I was seriously thinking of taking the additional security measure of having a Kill Switch installed.

Has anyone had experience of installing a simple Kill Switch in their Cali? or even better can anyone recommend a fitter in the South West who has experience with the intricacies of the Cali electrics that could or has done the job?

Thank you

They use a Kill switch in Motor sports. So that would be a good starting point. However, you would need a switch that would allow a current to pass to keep the ECU, stereo etc powered so that the memory isn't wiped/damaged, but which would not allow the current required to start the engine.
It would be good to know how these Californias were stolen. With a key and driven away or winched onto a flatbed truck?

Yes agree. It would be very handy to know the details of how the vehicle was stolen so we can at least try and defend against it. I thought the Cali was pretty secure when deadlocked and the thief did not have the proper key.
