Cinch hub all the way for us. No faffing and. It’s up and down in 5mins.

Great ideas on here and as previously mentioned, just makes us want to check it all out out … more buying!
We did purchase an awning ( Vango Palm / air )and do use it. Very useful if you have a dog and also in UK weather wet clothes etc. For us it adds to the van in terms of comfort and the fact it takes 30 mins to erect and maybe needs drying out on return isn’t an issue…….we don’t always erect if it’s a one night stop-over, we’re on holiday it’s all part of the fun. Living in Scotland and travel in Autumn / Winter means dark early and the awning definitely enhances the evening experience.
We are also Ridge Monkey fans … love our morning croissants.
We travel light, we have Vango Folding storage organisers for clothes (from club shop), one each, which fit in the boot under the shelf and alongside the packed awning. The wardrobe we use for jackets/ trousers/ fleeces and a big laundry bag on the bottom.
It’s been a major ‘learning curve’ and like installing a new bathroom or kitchen you have to really ‘experience’ your own needs before you jump in.

Thanks so much for that. All very useful stuff and I agree based on our experiences with our previous Beach that it is very much a learning curve and what works for one might not necessarily work for another. Happy and safe travels
