Leaking oil behind control panel of 2008 T5

Hopefully you can help, I’m following the same process outlined in your post but I’m stuck.

I removed all the parts to get to the pump motor to check the oil level, but I have a block of foam, and don’t see the metal plate you refer to. Also, there is a plastic strip in the way holding the foam block - see the green arrow.

Did you have the same problem ?

Model year? What kind of car? Probably smaller changes. I can’t see in the pictures, but probably loosen that plastic strip will take you forward

Disassembled the pump
cleaned it roughly
Stupid as I can be I forgot to write down the hose connections. But think I got it correct!?
Any one that can confirm?

If so I believe it’s pump is faulty.
I’ve tried different hose connections and
Both cylinders seams to move up and down but only separately. not both at the same time.
Other ideas?

After connecting accordingly all work fine!
So in my case I believe cleaning the pumps and new oil was the issue.
