Leisure battery level indicator on control panel going bonkers!

On a recent "no-hookup" festival trip (4 days), I turned the ignition on just to check it would start OK. and I noticed afterwards that the reading on the leisure battery went down rapidly from 90% to 20%! A little later I started the motor up to recharge it, and it immediately went back up to 90% again. While it showed 20%, the fridge was still working fine, so I had no reason to believe the reading was true. I have 2 relatively new batteries. Do I need to worry. do you think, or just ignore it as a "quirk"?

Do not rely on the % Capacity.
The Voltage is more accurate.

Have you ever reset the Control Panel by switching it OFF using the L lower button. Wait 30 secs and then Switch On using the same button. It is a Computer and that reloads the software.
