These 2 vehicles have very different electrical systems.

right it is a T5 2.5td not sure how I ended up on grand california thread I think it was googling rather than doing the forum search

OK. The California system is much simpler. There are no mains 230v fuses to worry about. It's just socket - Circuit Breaker - Charger and Kitchen socket.
Will the Circuit Breaker switch to the ON position when NOT plugged into the EHU?
