Levels

We have the 255 18” wheels. Do Cali owners use level wedges generally and are there any wide enough for these wheels?

I did the same, agree you can get away without them, but they do give you the flexibility of being able to use any pitch.

Main campsites shouldn’t be a problem in the U.K. Certified Locations run by the 2 main clubs can be more variable. On the continent similar for main sites but some of the ones we visit in forests or close to beaches are rarely very level, especially on the pitches we like.

Always handy to carry wedges, gives you more choice of pitches. We have the 18” wheels and they are a lot wider than the ramps we have, but that’s not been a problem.

We bought some when we got the van and soon used them twice at campsites that didn't have level pitches, including the C&MC site at Minehead. Partly so the bed was level, but mainly as the water doesn't all go down the sink if the van isn't level.

We have them for our type 2 bay and use them all the time as prefer grass pitches which are rarely level! Will be getting a set for the Cali due for delivery in January. Essential kit in our minds.
